Victoria Park Florist began in 2004 and is owned and operated by Dave and Margaret Pender.  It is named for the flower farm in Africa where Margaret grew up and learned about flowers from her grandmother whose floral designs regularly won Provincial awards.  Over the years Margaret has developed an eclectic design style, constantly reaching out to explore new ways to bring flowers together into exciting and inspired creations.  Many of our customers have learned the joy of discovering what will come when they ask her to “do something different”.  Our other chief designer is Anna Reed, born and bred in Chapel Hill, and is one of the area’s most experienced and accomplished designers.  She is a technical whiz at color and symmetry and has a jeweler’s eye for quality in all her work.  Lauren Ryan is another top designer with us, who combines an all-round talent with a special flair for wedding and big event flowers.  Together with the other members of the team, we offer you a friendly, customer oriented service in all aspects of floral design for all occasions and also stock a nice range of high quality green and blooming plants and will make up gift baskets of any size or content.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure product availability and on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, it is advisable to place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week and Mother's Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, and Independence Day.

A local delivery fee of $9.00 will be added to each order, for each address. A surcharge may be added for delivery to addresses in excess of 10 miles from the florist. On rare occasions, or on Valentine’s Day, an address in a town we serve may be too far to deliver even with a surcharge. In such a case we will handle the order the same as an order to another town and will arrange delivery by a closer florist.

Local orders received before 1:00 pm are guaranteed delivery the same day. Orders received later will be dealt with on an individual basis.

Orders which require special handling in terms of delivery time or method should be clearly indicated and we will make every effort to comply within the bounds of possibility.

Delivery to other cities or areas which we do not personally serve will be forwarded for delivery by our trusted network of affiliated florists. We charge a $5.00 service charge for handling such wire-outs to other florists. Please note: pricing may vary on delivery and for certain arrangements when filled by an affiliated florist.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
