Terms and Conditions

DELIVERIES

A local delivery fee of $10.00 will be added to each order, for each address in Chapel Hill or Carrboro. We also deliver to Hillsborough and zips 27705, 27707 27713 and 27701 in Durham at rate of $15. All areas outside these will be charged at $20 and in such cases we will deliver if possible or may arrange delivery by another florist nearer to the destination. During Valentine's Day and Mother's Day periods we may suspend the taking of orders for certain zip codes. Deliveries for the high volume periods such as Valentine's day, Christmas and Mother's Day week will incur a $2.50 surcharge to cover the cost of the contract drivers we need to hire to handle the deliveries. 

Local orders received before 12:00 pm can be scheduled for delivery the same day (11:00 on Saturdays) and the present day will be the default date. During busy periods we may cutoff early for same day deliveries or even next day ones. Any such change will be reflected in the choice of delivery dates available at checkout. 

Orders which require special handling in terms of delivery time or method should be clearly indicated and we will make every effort to comply within the bounds of possibility. If a customer is not home and conditions permit, we will leave the arrangement in a safe place and a location where they will be seen by the recipient when they return. In this case we will leave a text, a voice message and/or door tag to ensure recipient is aware they have a delivery. On days when temperature is too cold or hot to safely leave flowers, we will call ahead to establish a time to deliver or leave a door tag for customer to call when they return.

PRICING AND SALES

Your order will be charged to your card on the day your order is placed regardless of the date chosen for pickup or delivery.  This guarantees the price you will pay will not increase.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to lack of availability of certain flowers. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of similar value, color and structure. If a significant substitution is required or if at the time of placing the order, you indicated that you do not wish to allow any substitutions, we will contact you by phone or email to receive your authorization for such substitution. We may also make minor substitutions in vases, containers or other décor but will ensure the chosen color, theme and style is retained.

CANCELLATION AND COMPLAINTS

Orders placed on our website may be cancelled for a full refund if we are notified by phone or email at least a day in advance.    Later cancellations will be at the discretion of the florist.  In the case of special event orders, the cancellation policy will be detailed in the quote.  Orders to patients in hospital are treated in a special manner as sometimes the patient will not be allowed flowers in their unit.  We always guarantee a full refund if we are unable to deliver such orders.  We have a policy of 100% satisfaction and in the rare event that either the customer or recipient is unhappy with our product or service we encourage you to contact us and we promise to make that right.
