My wife passed away in February, 2026, and in her obituary, we specified no flowers. But a gallery I sell my work through in Carrboro didn't know that, and they had Victoria Park Florist deliver a bouquet. It was beautiful, and I have never had a bouquet last so long. Although they couldn't have known it, the bouquet contained the flowers that my wife loved. That bouquet sat on my kitchen table for over a month before it really faded. It is still there in it's faded state, and still brings me great comfort. Thank-you to Victoria Park Florist for whatever you did to make that bouquet last so long. It has been a bright spot of color amidst my grief, and I cannot overstate the value of that.
